The Only Figure-8 in F1
Suzuka is the only track on the F1 calendar with a true figure-8 layout — the back straight passes over the front section via a flyover bridge. Designed by Dutch architect John Hugenholtz in 1962. The 130R corner is one of the fastest in F1.
