Packers at Lambeau Field (Winter Game)
The Frozen Tundra is the closest thing American pro sports has to a cathedral. A December or January game at Lambeau Field — ideally with snow falling and Aaron Rodgers' successors under center — is the purest NFL experience money can buy, complete with the Lambeau Leap, community-owned team lore, and parking-lot brats that have fed generations.
A Lambeau Leap into the arms of fans in parkas as snowflakes drift through the stadium lights.
Lambeau Field is an outdoor athletic stadium in the north central United States, located in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The home field of the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL), it opened in 1957 as City Stadium, replacing the original City Stadium at Green Bay East High School as the Packers' home field. Informally known as New City Stadium for its first eight seasons, it was renamed in August 1965 in memory of Packers founder, player, and long-time head coach, Earl "Curly" Lambeau, who had died two months earlier.

Plan Your Trip
Fly into Green Bay (GRB) or Appleton (ATW); Milwaukee (MKE) is a 2-hour drive with more options. Hotels sell out a year in advance — book the moment the schedule drops in May. Consider renting a driveway from a local; it's a Green Bay tradition. Dress in layers: base layer, fleece, parka, waterproof boots.
