Jack Trice Stadium is a stadium located in Ames, Iowa, United States. Primarily used for college football, it is the home field of the Iowa State Cyclones. It is named in honor of Jack Trice, Iowa State's first African American athlete, who died of injuries sustained during a 1923 game against Minnesota. Jack Trice Stadium is currently the only Division I FBS stadium or arena to be named after an African American.
